PrimalScream Music & Sound has announced the opening of a new location in Austin, TX, otherwise known as the Live Music Capital of the World. Company Founder/Creative Director Nicole Dionne will work via both Austin and PrimalScream’s Los Angeles studio to produce music and sound for advertising, film and television promotions.

The expansion was inspired with the depth and scope of music talent available in Austin and Dionne’s desire to provide clients increased in person access to collaborating with PrimalScream’s team. The company has over a decade long history of working with artists of all music genres who flock to Austin for its quality of life and numerous music venues, and Dionne’s unprecedented access to award-winning musicians and songwriters was a major consideration in PrimalScream’s new development. The city’s support of both business and the arts ultimately made it an ideal second hub for the company.

“Austin and Los Angeles are the perfect complements for tapping the best music talent available for motion media and are both incredible creative hotbeds,” says Dionne. “We searched the country for PrimalScream Music’s second home and decided on Austin and Cedar Creek Recording for so many reasons, including being an exceptional place for our clients to visit and work.”

PrimalScream Music & Sound’s Austin office is located in the world-class recording studio Cedar Creek Recording located on nine acres in the ultra hip neighborhood of South Austin. Like the renowned historic provenance of The Village where Primal Scream Music Los Angeles is based, Cedar Creek has played host to countless bands, songwriters, and musicians from every known genre for 30 years including numerous Grammy award winning albums and artists.

“I am truly impressed with Nicole’s talent for producing compelling music for advertising and her knack for working with musicians, “ says Cedar Creek Recording & Music Road Records owner Fred Remmert. “As a studio focused on record producing and recording, we knew that our pairing would be the right match for our one of a kind studio, with opportunities to expose new artists and welcome commercial clients to our place.”

For Dionne, Cedar Creek’s exceptional recording studios and client friendly environment makes it a natural second home for the company and visiting agency clients from around the country. Dionne is also excited at the additional access to Austin’s wealth of innovative musicians, composers, and singers of all music genres by virtue of the expansion and location.
